| 1st European Conference on Small Forest Holdings – Shaping the future of small-scale forestry | | The Conference, organized by the SMURF project, will take place on May 20-22, 2025, at the FAO Headquarters in Rome, with both in-person and online participation options. The event will bring together stakeholders involved in small forest ownership to discuss challenges and opportunities in small-scale forestry across the EU aiming to establish a community of practice, assess current frameworks, and develop common strategies in line with the European Forest Strategy 2030. Registration is open until April 18, 2025.

| MYTF calls for a survey on Gender Disparities in Forestry | | The Mediterranean Youth Task Force (MYTF) prepared a short survey aimed to gather insights on gender disparities in the forestry sector. Women with leadership roles in the sector are targeted to provide a better understanding of the challenges that they face and enable their resilience.
Responses will remain anonymous and will inform discussions in a webinar organized by the MYTF and the International Model Forest Network. The data may also contribute to future publications. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete this survey. Take a look at it by April 15! | | |
