The Mediterranean Youth Task Force (MYTF), in collaboration with the Mediterranean Model Forest Network (MMFN) and the Latin America Model Forest Network (RLABM), is organizing a webinar on the importance of youth leadership in forest conservation.

A successful final event for the Istria Model Forest project “In the Forest as in the Classroom” |
|
On In the territory of Istria Model Forest, on March 25, 2025, the final meeting was held as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “In the Forest as in the Classroom”.
The project brought together partners from Croatia and Slovenia with the aim of developing and promoting forest pedagogy - an innovative approach to learning through outdoor activities and time spent in nature. The lead partner of the project is Istria Model Forest.
Partners presented the project results, including the e-manual “In the Forest as in the Classroom”, created in collaboration by the Slovenian Forestry Institute, the Public Open University Gospić, and Istria Model Forest. |

| SMURF Project Opens €825,000 Funding Call to Support Small Forest Owners | | The SMURF Project has launched its second cascade funding call, offering up to €825,000 to support at least 40 organizations representing small forest owners across Europe.
Grants of up to €60,000 aim to promote sustainable forest management, innovative business models, biodiversity, and climate resilience in Mediterranean and European contexts. Eligible applicants include cooperatives and associations. Applications are open from April 9 to July 2, 2025. Info sessions will be held on April 30 and May 28. | | |
