“Truffle habitats are endangered! Keep them properly harvested!"

A year 2019 started with the placement of the bilboard on the main road wich is passing through a major truffle habitats of the MF territory. Title on the jumbo poster is “Truffle habitats are endangered! Keep them properly harvested!" The poster was created and printed as part of the Habitat Conservation Project of the Istrian Truffle, funded by the Region of Istria, Department of Agriculture and Forestry. The aim of the project is to inform truffle collectors about the importance of proper harvesting, related to the filling of holes after truffle extraction and overuse of habitat.In the regional newspapers Voice of Istria came out an article about the project.
