The Montagne Fiorentine Model Forest association, through the Commission dedicated to the Productive Sector, has launched a short video dedicated to the local top producers (farmers, grazers and honey producers) that are part of the Model Forest association, with the aim of stimulating those who look at it to visit the Tuscan lands and choose local, high quality and sustainable products.
Despite of video isn’t about forest management, the woods are always present, because they form a continuous background to the agricultural territories from the Montagne Fiorentine Model Forest, showing an alternation of environments that are not only fascinating, but also rich in values, knowledge, opportunities and synergies. …an amazing mosaic landscape.
In a context like the Italian one, mountain forests and agriculture should be part of a single idea of sustainable management and enhancement of the territory, which is necessary as never before to maintain a garrison that in many cases is inexorably getting lost.
This video, even if it is only a very small part of the great work carried out by the entire Mediterranean and International Network, demonstrates that being part of a Model Forest means working together to enhance one's territory, the people who live there and the products that derive from it.
