May was a month full of events for the Provence Model Forest.
Everything started with a double event in the weekend 4-5 of May, firstly as organisers at the Villa Noailles, with a record attendance (4800 people in one and a half days - exhibition on show until Sunday), and secondly as participants in the Saint-Tropez event highlighting local gastronomy and products.
Then, after a few days of rest, the following weekend, PACA Model Forest played is full part in organising the Festival de la Nature in Collobrières with: exhibitions, talks and demonstrations (sculpture, turning, cork-making) in the Salle des Mouffus; Forest and wood area with sculpture, chantournage, woodturning and mobile sawmill.
During the Festival also a conference on the Model Forest and its European dynamics, reporting the efforts of the Provence Model Forest in the ONEForest project, funded by the EU by the Horizon programme. The team from PACA MF worked in Catalunya (Spain) to establish a first contact and check the interest of local stakeholders in starting a new MF project in their territory.
