This year, in addition to the 30th anniversary of the International Model Forest Network, we also celebrate the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Montagne Fiorentine Model Forest (Italy).
To celebrate these two important milestones was organized an event full of activities, which will be held on 27 August in Rincine (Tuscany, Italy), during which there will be an opportunity to celebrate in the forest!
The day is funded by the International Model Forests Network and the Secretariat of the Mediterranean Network, and promoted by the Montagne Fiorentine Model Forest, the Unione dei Comuni Valdarno e Valdisieve, together with music4forest.org of FSC® Italia
The event, completely free, is aimed at young and old who want to celebrate together through participation in forest activities, but it will also be an opportunity for Montagne Fiorentine Model Forest members and sympathizers to talk about a 10-year vision on the activities to be solved in the area to help the forests ... to help us!
In addition to the activities in the forest for adults and children, there will be the "RESPIRA" concert by Erica Boschiero and Sergio Marchesini (by FSC® Italia).
PROGRAM
- 10 am - Guided walk for children and families on the new path/game "Discover the animals of the forest"
- 2:00 pm - “10 years of Montagne Fiorentine Model Forest" meeting with members and sympathizers of Model Forest to imagine the next 10 years
- 3:00 pm - Inauguration of the “Wonderland Forest”
- 4:15 pm - Departure for Aina Lake
- 5:00 pm - Guided tour dedicated to the recognition and use of wild herbs (at Aina Lake)
- 6:30 pm - “Respira” concert by Erica Boschiero and Sergio Marchesini and toast for the 10th anniversary of the Montagne Fiorentine Model Forest association
